SURGERY CLOSURE - The surgery will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 25 January 2017 for the Trafford GP Education Event. If you require GP assistance during this afternoon please contact NHS111 for advice

Breast Screening at Wythenshawe Hospital - Eligible patients will be receiving invites for breast screening and we strongly encourage you to attend this important service. At the last screening 3 years ago, 74% of our patients attended and 9 of those were identified with a new cancer that may not otherwise have been diagnosed until much later. If you have any worries or concerns regarding breast screening then please make an appointment with a GP to discuss

On 12 April 2016 the surgery was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our overall rating was 'Good' with a rating of 'Outstanding' for people experiencing poor mental health. Please see CQC information page for full detailed report

From 4 July 2016 there will no longer be a Community Phlebotomy (blood) clinic held at Conway Road Health Centre on Tuesday mornings. The nearest clinic will be on Fridays at Chapel Road Clinic Sale from 8.30 - 14.00 (please note that 8.30 - 9.30 is reserved for those patients requiring fasting blood tests). There are other clinics throughout the week, please contact the surgery for details

Last month (Dec 2016) there were 70 patients who missed their appointment with the GP or Nurse

This is 11.5 hours of un used clinical time

This may increase your waiting time to see a clinician

If you know that you will be unable to attend your appointment please can you call the surgery so it can be used by someone else

We have a text messaging service which confirms and reminds patients of their appointments, please check with reception if you wish to use this service.
