You may have been asked by your doctor or nurse to provide a FIT test. This is a very important test used to detect blood in your poo that is invisible to the naked eye.
If you have been asked to complete a FIT test, you should do this urgently as blood in your poo can be a sign of bowel cancer.
The test can be completed incorrectly which can lead to delays in your care, so please see the video below for more information on how to complete the test properly.
