We are awaiting formal guidance following the Government’s announcement on Monday regarding the loosening of COVID-19 safety restrictions.
However, as a healthcare setting with significant footfall, we must prioritise the safety of our patients, community and staff. Therefore we will maintain our existing infection control measures, and ask all patients who are invited to attend for face to face appointments to wear a mask or face covering whilst in the Practice. By necessity we will have ill and vulnerable patients in our premises, and we must ensure that they are protected as best as possible.
We will continue to see patients face to face wherever clinically necessary, including for routine health checks and screening, as we have throughout the last year and a half.
Thank you for your support.
Due to the current unprecedented demand on GP services nationally we are making some changes to the way we use askmyGP to ensure safe and timely access for everyone to GP care during working hours.
Going forward, our askmyGP service hours will be between 6am and 4pm Monday to Friday. We will aim to respond to your request as soon as we can, usually the same day.
On days with particularly heavy demand we may be required to turn the system off earlier than 4pm if we are at capacity. If you have a problem which is urgent and the system is off, then please call the practice, or call NHS 111 outside of surgery hours.
We are dedicated to delivering first class healthcare and placing our patients at the heart of all we do and where our mission statement is ‘to treat everyone as you would wish to be treated.’
Our surgery is open from 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday with additional evening and weekend appointments also available to Trafford patients to see a GP, Nurse or Phlebotomist between:
as part of Trafford Primary Health’s commitment to seven day GP access for Trafford patients.
